Dr. Iselande Desyr is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner as well as a Family Nurse Practitioner for all age groups. She has completed two Masters Degrees in Nursing at Sacred University in Fairfield, Connecticut and Walden University (Clinical Nurse Leader and Family Nurse Practitioner). She completed a Post-Masters in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Regis College in Weston Massachusetts. She recently completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with a focus in Nursing Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her personal philosophy is lifelong learning. She believes “learning should never stop.”

Dr. Desyr has an impressive academic and professional background. She is a courtesy faculty and a clinical preceptor at Yale University in New Haven Connecticut.  She is a contracted adjunct faculty member at Liberty University. Dr. Desyr has over 25 years of experience in various clinical settings including over a decade in school nursing.

Dr. Desyr is uniquely suited to treat children, adolescents and young/older adults across the lifespan. She also works extensively with the pediatric population and their families. She prescribes FDA-approved Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD). She is a Certified Buprenorphine/Suboxone provider.
